Research And Design Of Supply Chain Management System

Supply Chain Management (SCM) has been developing from bud to maturity spending no more than 50 years. But in that short time, SCM changed the ideology and method of enterprise management greatly, and brings a new market competition shape, supply chain based market competition. In the new century, with the fast development of global economy and modern science and technology especially in the information technology area, SCM as a latest and best management model has become the focal point in all of the world step by step. It has been adopted widely among enterprises in developed country, and become an effective tool to improve international competition and maximize value in many multinational corporations. As the background of the cooperative project between HUST and GS Magic Inc., this paper starts with the SCM theory, then research deeply in SCM.At first, this paper reviews the development history of SCM which included three steps. Then, the research and application status quo of SCM in domestic and overseas has been introduced. After that, beginning with the definition of supply chain and supply chain management, the core of SCM has been analyzed. What's more, to explain the advantage of SCM, the difference between SCM and traditional information management has been discussed. Besides that, this paper tells four different and relative SCM types which sorted by management range.After analyzed the theory of SCM and linked up the fact application, this paper brings an optimization model based on stock in enterprise inner SCM, then get the optimization solution (zero stock) and secondary optimization solution (quasi zero stock). Besides the optimization model, another international standard model which is used widely in the world, Supply Chain Operations Reference-model (SCOR), has been introduced and analyzed.In the fact application, this paper adopts the optimization model based on stock to design a SCM system. This system uses Browser/Server (B/S) structure, Model-View-Control design mode, and J2EE platform to implement. Network communication module, database communication and process module, operation process module and man-machine interface module are included in the system. After running in GS Magic Inc. for several months, the result was satisfied and the estimate was good.At the end of this paper, the summing-up to this paper and the prospect to the future are given.
