With the development of systems biology, flow balance analysis method is displaying obvious advantage in all methods of the simulation for metabolic networks, it makes exploration with organism from the system level based on arrangement of whole network information, especially, which has merit not to depend on biochemical reaction should be with detail information. Nowadays, simulation of metabolic networks are carrying out on pc, yet both scale of metabolic networks and relevant calculation are always big, only rely on running at pc is impractical. Therefore, there need support from cluster, along with popularity of internet, requirement against real time service from people are more and more bigger, it is significant to construct a remote computing platform for metabolic networks on the basis of cluster.Depiction of development history of system structure, the characteristics of system structure ever since begin were summarized, thereof, the multi-layer framework of metabolic networks remote computing platform was brought forward. In accordance of the multi-layer framwork designation, the system was implemented by some relevant technologys . In user interface tier, firstly user's working procedure and imitation interface were designed, then the available imitation interface was implemented by Applet and the digital signature technology realized access of Applet application to local resource. In presentation logic tier, the far distance data exchange was done by the communication technology between Servlet and Applet, and the thread pool technology dealed with multi-users requests. In business logic tier, the load balancing controlled the computing task assignment over cluster nodes, and JavaBean technology encapsulated the handle of database. In data tier, the language described the storage files of metabolic networks models, the systems biology markup language, and JDBC technology was applied in database connection.To measure the remote computing platform, an example of the energy metabolic network of mitochondria in mammalian myocardia was made. Make the simulation experiment on the model of this energy metabolic network integrating with relevant biochemical reactions information, combining with biochemical theory, together with far remote computing method. Visible simulation result accorded with the current knowledge. The far remote computing platform not only can be easy updated and maintained, but also has the independent of platform, great calculation ability and support against heavy task.
