The Research Of The Application Of The Network Practice/Examination System Based On Web

This paper introduces the design and implementation of the on-line practice/examination system based on JSP technology. The system is based on B/S 3-layer structure : the Web server uses Tomcat and the background database uses SQL Server 2000. The system accesses the SQL Server database by JDBC. It is divided into 4 parts: the login module, the administrator module, the teacher module, and the student module. In the login module, each user gets into the different interface of the system by validating their identity. The administrator module is to insert, update and delete the information of the teachers and students which is the base of the running of the system. The teacher module is used to set up the examination paper in the paper interface. The student module is used for the students who logins into the system. After login, they can choose the subjects for examination and then take part in the online examination. In the software tests part, the paper firstly analyses the causation of the problems which could exist in the system, forecasts the errors which may be in it and proposes the tests scheme. Then the paper bats around two types of the tests which are made for this system: unit tests, increasing COM positive tests and analyzes the reasons about the errors to propose a solution. At last, this paper has carried on the summary to the test work.
