Study And Application Of IPTV Network

Nowadays, under the background of the "Three Networks Converged", IPTV service is becoming a hot service. IPTV is an interactive network television, it is a new technology which can provide more than digital television interactive services to home users ,by means of broadband cable television networks, Internet, multimedia, communications and etc.In this thesis, the IPTV technology system and key technologies are discussed, including video coding technology , digital rights management technology, multicast technology, content distribution network technology, electronic program guide technology and set-top box technology. On the basis of this study, IPTV systems network model, the functional model, system entities including video source systems, video services network, business support systems is analyzed.For an example in Hennan Oilfield IPTV network, the current situation and needs of the IPTV network construction steps, configuration principles, the calculating method of users and concurrent users as well as outgoing bandwidth, were discussed.The video distribution network is based on the basis of existing broadband networks by the deployment of streaming media server cascade. Via this video distribution network, IPTV can provide high quality video services for customers.Followed the clues of the construction of video distribution network we discuss the demand of IPTV service on carrier network and access network .It covers structure, function, bandwidth, Qos, multicast, and etc. and on this basis, feasibility studies and design of Access Network optimization program is performed including network bandwidth, multicast functions, the ability Qos , Qos guarantee strategy, equipment and other aspects.
