Electronic endoscope has very important applying and researching value in medical diagnosis and industrial areas. Medical electronic endoscope, very widely used medical equipment, is the combination of computer technology, microelectronic technology and digital image processing technology, and etc. Through endoscope, doctors can directly observe the viscera and the internal pathological, so it is very convenient for them to conduct clinical diagnosis and track disease and determine treatment.In this paper, we widely suvey the developmet and status of electronic endoscope, analyse the electronic endoscope imaging principle and then design and implement FPGA and DSP based endoscope image high-definition processing system.The whole design flow includes: functional specification definition, general structure design, system realization, PCB simulation design and system debugging.Chapter 1 gives a general description of the subject design of electronic image processing system.Chapter 2 discusses functional specification definition and general structure desChapter 3 discusses the realization of the system.Chapter 4 discusses PCB layout, simulation and system debugging. Chapter 5 summarizes the work and the technical trend.
