Research And Practice Of Data Integration In Distributed System

Data integration is the foundation of implementing data sharing and exchanging in application systems. Recently, traditionally tight coupled and centralized data integration technology can not be satisfied with application any longer, so it has been changed to loosely coupled and distributed gradually.Based on the deep research about some kinds of prevalent data integration technologies nowadays, concerning about the practical requirement of the university digital campus, lots of pertinence work has been done about the data integration technology of heterogeneous data sources, the technology which based on Web Services and sharing database. The major works for the paper are:1:In order to solving the intercommunion problem in distributed heterogeneous data sources, the paper presented a technology scheme that based on traditional virtual database and combined with XML, Web Services, discussed the way of using virtual data view and data entity to build an uniformed global view, and the strategy of services priority and data cache.2: By analyzing the feasibility and limit of using Web Services for data integration, paper concerned about the Web Services discovery mechanism with feedback and the SOAP protocol, using average response time as the client's standard interval time to avoid the repeating submits that may cause the unnecessary cost in service-side.3: Aiming at traditionally centralizing share database schema. Paper discussed the weak consistency and strong consistency with their applied scenes independently. By the means of consistency algorithm and distributed two phases lock and submit protocol, paper extends the centralized database scheme, so it can be applied to different scenes.Concluding the application and research work, author designed and implemented a data exchange center which based on J2EE, design schema and application example were presented in the paper, by using system adapter, data exchange agent and other mechanism, the data integration process was simplified and also make the old systems joining the new data integration system expediently.
