Enterprise Application Integration, or EAI, is the combination of processes, software, standards, and hardware resulting in the seamless integration of two or more enterprise systems allowing them to operate as one. It not only includes integration of application systems and organizations in each level inside enterprises, but also realizes the system integration of cross-enterprises, in order to achieve business-to-business information exchange, business coordination, process integration and the formation of dynamic virtual enterprise.Many people at home and abroad have made in-depth research on architecture of enterprise application integration, technique to integration legacy systems, data integration methods, and so on. However, how to select the appropriate architecture for the organization to integrated legacy systems, and how to resolve the issue of transaction processing is still worthwhile research topic.After further research of theories and implement technologies of enterprise application integration, this thesis presents a tiered integration system architecture which employ both object-oriented middleware (OOM) and message-oriented middleware (MOM), and is composed of adapter tier, message service tier, and integration engine. Adapter tier provides data extraction, handling and distribution service. Message service tier provides message communication of point to point and publish-subscribe pattern. Integration engine focuses on business flow integration.In order to resolve the problem of transaction process in EAI, in this thesis, we bring out a transaction processing models based on conditional messaging and priority. By using of conditional messaging, standard distributed object transactions and asynchronous messages can integrate in one single unit-of-work. Vote on commit or rollback of a transaction is based on its priority which involve in.Finally, by use of J2EE application develop technologies, we implemented the Electronic Tax Payment system. Practice show that integration architecture, transaction processing mechanism, designs and implement plan in this thesis are effective, which provide new thoughts to similar taxation system, and have good reference meaning.
