The Design And Development Of Semi-automatic Test Tool For Cell-phone

Following the development of technology and applications of computer software, the automatic test technology becomes more and more important. Moreover, the automatic test makes the testing engineers free from the heavy and complicated testing work. Now cell-phone is all ready typical flush bonding equipment which not only contains software and hardware design but also contains a lot of functions. The heavy and complicated work also exists in the work of cell-phone test. Obtain elicitation from that, the cell-phone automatic test also becomes a hot point.Now some overseas cell-phone manufacturers have their own automatic testing tools. But they keep the tools as a secret. It results in that most of the cell-phone test companies only could make manual testing. Aimed at this problem and combined with actual requirement of company, this thesis brings forward a kind of method and model of semi-automatic test tool for cell-phone. The technology of Java and C are used to implement the platform of the semi-automatic test tool.At first, the thesis brings forward a blue print about semi-automatic test platform, including the whole platform structure design and deeply discussion about the functions and cooperation. At second, the thesis brings forward a script criterion which is used to develop test cases. This criterion limits how to write test cases with script language. The thesis makes a design about script engine according to the script criterion and then implements this script engine by using the technology of Java and C. The script engine could run the test cases of cell phone rightly and stably. At third, the thesis solves the problem that the big picture couldn't be shown in Java GUI. The display performance is improved. At fourth, a script editor is designed and implemented in the thesis. It could shows script in a format which could make attention by script developers. Consequently, it could reduce errors which are made by test case developers.By using this semi-automatic test platform, cell-phone testers could keep away from working repeatedly and reduce the errors which are happened in cell-phone test. At the same time, the work efficiency will be increased because it is very convenient to use test cases repeatedly.
