All of this, application software system based on web browser developed more quickly. Each application developers in the development of that. In order to ensure the quality and reduce defects much more tests are needed, it’s a challenge for artificial test default. So automated test be used and become more and more important. and Has become the trend of test works.For several years working experience in company the author combined with actual test works and situation to developed the automated test system based on web software, in order to reduce the testing workload and Improve work efficiency. In this system, integrated all the company’s existing resources and use open source STAF testing framework, combined with the company component. Using XML,JAVA,SQL program language to realize the automation of testing web software. Because of its characteristics of STAF framework, The system supports cross platform and distributed deployment. In development process I mainly undertake the following work:1, According to needs for classification and divided modules, set system boundary. The system is divided into 4 modules: test software installation, test script generation, test script execution and test result archiving. Focus on summary and detail design from overall architecture, each module of the business process, operation sequence etc…2, On the basis of specific physical design result of each function from architecture, flow and specific code to complete and realize it. Meantime in order to share data between various web software application, developed test component of Http Interceptor and DB service and To achieve a good Module integration.Finally chose two sample system from company to test using automated test system for actual application. Compared and analyzed the test result to verify efficiency and practicability of the system.
