Natural Language Processing Applied In Test Script Automatic Generation

With the developing of software automation test technology,more and more software are tested by automation test script.The test script can be directly designed according to the product functional specifications.We just need to maintain these scripts when software function is changed.Computer will do the test running work for us.However,in our daily developing work,we have to face to a lot of products updating work.These products usually have a lot of manual test documents due to automation test not working at that time.On the one hand,the old test cases are important properties for the company.But on the other side,these inefficient manual tests will cost much human resource of the company.And it's hard to rewrite these documents to automation test manually.It will also cost too much human resource to this work.So,it is necessary to find a solution to solve this problem.The purpose of this paper is to design an automation convert tool by natural language processing which can help to translate the old test document into automation test script and reduce the develop cost.The main work of this paper is as below:1.To research the theory and method of natural language processing.2.To analyze the feature of script language.3.To design the process method according to the difference between natural language and script language.4.To implement the convert tool.5.To test this tool in the concrete project.Through applying this convert tool to an existing project,verify its converting ability.It shows this tool has a high convert ratio and accuracy.And it can be extend to other projects and save human resource cost for the company.
