Heat engine unit with great capacity, high parameter is been putting into production, accordingly the requirement of control level is more high. It is essential to explore a model-identification method based on modern technology to enhance unit's control quality. However, the usual identification method has high request on data, weak anti-jamming ability and the identification result is not satisfying. This article aims at working out a method that has high efficiency on complex heat engineering plant. In this article, we mainly discuss genetic algorithm, at the same time, obey the route as follows, matlab simulation, water tank validation, field data validation, software practicability. The identification method based on genetic algorithm has strong anti-jamming ability, and good effect on low-order system, high-order system, delay system. In the end, we develop a program combining LabVIEW and Matlab to make the algorithm have more practicability.
