Three-tank system is a typical and nonobjective model of many objects in industrial process control, and the system is broadly representative in the research of non-linear and inertial process control. In recent years, many scholars in home and abroad have explored the method of modeling, control algorithm and diagnosis of faults etc.. It has true values of theoretics and practical application in the field of industrial control and the teaching of Engineering Control Theory to further reseach on the control algorithm of three-tank system and the construction of experiment teaching system. The thesis roundly takes reseach on the design of three-tank system, the technology of modeling, control algorithm and experiment teaching system, which has mainly done the following research work:Based on analyzing the experiment devices which are used in home and abroad, the thesis designs three-tank system, and then the general configuration, the configuration of typical objects, and the composing of control system are introduced in detail.The thesis reseachs on the mathematics model of the typical objects by two ways, which are mechanism modeling method and experimentation modeling method. The experiment result shows that the model which is established by means of experimentation modeling method is more correct and valid.Based on analyzing and summarizing the works of studying on three-tank system and Fuzzy-PID control algorithm, which are done by other scholars, the thesis has taken reseach on Fuzzy-PID control algorithm based on revised genetic algorithm, which is applied on three-tank system.The result of simulation and test show that the revised Fuzzy-PID control algorithm is better to get good performance.The experiment teaching system on the basis of virtual instrumentation technology is designed, which includes the hardware control program, network-based laboratory and experiment management subsystem, and the system could supply a nicer experiment teaching plant for the teaching of Engineering Control Theory.
