Software development progress and quality is very difficult to estimate and measure, the production efficiency is also difficult to predict and guarantee its development process in all kinds of risks than ordinary projects predictable and more difficult to control. As the scale of software projects increasingly large and complex, software development and management has become more complex, the software also will increase the risk. Particularly in large-scale software development projects, often require the use of many new and complex technology, the huge input of funds, organizations huge development team, and continued for a long time. These will take difficult to anticipate all the uncertainties, resulting in the risk of failure.Software risk management is increasingly subject to people's attention, as the field of software engineering software quality assurance process one of the indispensable key. In this paper, the second chapter introduces the basic concepts of the software risk management and risk: the so-called "risk", the loss is uncertain, in the given circumstances a certain period of time possible of the differences between the results . Then it analysises the characteristics of the software project risks and the treatments to risks.The third chapter introduces the IT project risk management process, the process is divided into five sub-process standards (identification, analysis, planning, tracking and control) and two auxiliary sub-processes (planning and risk management experience of learning), in addition, it also includes a support the process industry / enterprise risk database.Chapter IV researches traditional model of software project risk management. Traditional software project risk management model has BarryBoehm theory, continuing risk management model, Riskit methods, SoftRisk risk management model, IEEE risk management standards, risk management of CMMI, MSF soft risk management model of Microsoft.In order to better the software project risk assessment, chapter V raises a software project risk management model based on the traditional models of software project risk management, to quantify the risk prediction, risk mitigation and monitoring carried out a detailed description, and projects to quantify risk management. Chapter VI analysises and researches the software development process in various stages of risks, the software needs stage of the risk, the risk of the design stage, and achieve stage of the risks, operation and maintenance phase of the risks are described, respectively, are given Reduce or prevent the risk of several ways.In conclusion, the article reviews research results that domestic and foreign scholars have researched over the past 30 years in the software project risk management areas, Aggregates three research methods, and on this basis to focus on the future direction. Research on software project risk management has great significance for software development, software project management and quality software products.
