With the rapid development of the instrumentation technology, their size is getting smaller and smaller, resulted in that portable capacity is growing much stronger. What's more, it demands high demands of the power dissipation, because the lower the power dissipation, the lower the cost of products, then the products in the market is greater. But now there are IC card instrumentation in the most part of market which are not convenient for Corporation management.For a long time the charge of China gas management is artificial and it has many faults, such as heavy workload, long time for charges, charges difficult, inefficient, error-prone etc., then automatic meter reading technology is being seek.Automatic meter reading using electronic, communication, computer and network technology, and achieve a meter, water, gas meter and thermal meter etc. to copy the data centralized and automated so that and it can avoid wrong copy, leakage phenomenon, and improved accuracy and efficiency of the meter-reading. With the rapid development of electronic technology, computer network technology and communication technology, people can based on the different communication networks and using different communication patterns of automatic meter reading systems has been already a realization , but in practical applications, it exist many issues. Automatic meter reading system can be divided into two kinds by the different communications media: wired and wireless automatic meter reading system. Wired automatic meter reading system increases the cost and the difficulty of the integrated wiring, reducing the application flexibility of the system, so these faults limited the promotion and application of this system. In other hands, wireless automatic meter reading system which uses advanced wireless communications technology, realized the centralized meter reading, compared to wired automatic meter- reading system, it has inherent advantages.This paper is based on the unlimited gas meter sensor networks design. It replaced the previous oldest IC card gas meters, and makes it easy for the company to manage. This device is equally applicable to all types of water and electricity meters and other flow measurement devices. On this basis if further improvements would be done, more economic and practical will be realized.This system is based on the MSP430F149 control center, use the supercomputer as a standby power energy storage, with MSP430F149 to achieve internal AD power detection and brownout under-voltage alarm function. The user can store the existing information when replaced the battery, in the time specified by the software, user data can be uploaded to the gas company and the gas company can also control users on the corresponding control.Through experiments of the system real-time clock error is about±1s/24h. It has many advantages, such as, a strong anti-High magnetic interference, switching valves in time, accurate identification system power brownout, under-voltage, and to the conduct of sound smart-alarm, storage of user information.
