This paper deals with the research and design of a shipborne"Communications on the Move"directional antenna control system. The system is mainly used for the microwave communication between marine police vessels and radio stations. This system adopts directional antenna to replace the original omni-directional antenna with the help of"Communications on the Move"technology. It can increase communication distance and decrease power.Firstly, this thesis introduces the composition and principle of this system; analyzes factors that affect the goal pointing of antenna; demonstrates the feasibility of the one-dimensional turntable structure; and derives the formula for calculating the goal pointing of an antenna. And the overall design scheme of the system is designed.Secondly, according to different functions, the paper is divided into several parts to discuss. Based on test data, error sources and the character of sensors are analyzed, and algorithms for error analysis and compensation from error sources are proposed. The method of composite attitude measurement is realized, and the corresponding subsystem is designed. This thesis designs the operation platform used for the man-machine interface. A method is studied, which increases the reliability of multiple communications, serial communication protocol is made, the main control program of the system is developed, and the co-operation among subsystems and the calculation of the goal pointing of antenna are realized. Suitable turntable control elements are properly selected, the ways of combination of the position feedback of step motor and the zero position detecting of turntable are adopted, the turntable control subsystem is designed, and the precise control and accurate position of antenna pointing are realized.Finally, puts emphasis on some key technologies used in the system, i.e. composite attitude measurement; the reliability design of communication of multi serial ports; algorithm for exponential curve of acceleration and deceleration; and the design of reliable signal acquisition of photoelectric encoder.
