As information technology, computer networking technology and communications technology is developing rapidly; video surveillance is also changed from the traditional Security Monitoring gradually to Network Digital Video Surveillance direction. Network Digital Video Surveillance System is based entirely on a new network monitoring platform its superiority performance monitoring system for digital video, network management and intelligent. And compared to traditional monitoring systems, network-based Digital Video Surveillance System greatly enhance the monitoring system image quality and monitoring the efficiency of work, the monitoring system can be managed, it than any previous monitoring system has increased significantly.In this paper and the realization of a high-performance network digital video surveillance system. The paper first discusses Network Digital Video Surveillance System of critical technologies. The network introduced the Digital Video Surveillance System applied to the virtual network matrix technology, analysis of the Video Image Coding -- H.264 technology, in-depth discussion of the network digital video monitoring system to the application of network transmission technology -- IP Multicast technology, and in the network video monitoring system to the application of multimedia software development framework -- Directshow technology.The paper described in detail the network video monitoring system design and implementation process. In the text of a detailed analysis of the overall monitoring system workflow, the system of detailed functional modules and systems used in the graphs, as well described in detail many of the key monitoring system module workflows. On the basis of this in-depth analysis at the same time the use of the system for performance optimization of key technologies -- multithreading. Finally system tests show that the design of network digital video surveillance system not only has had better function and stability, but also in network performance as we could have expected demand.
