Multiple input multiple output (MIMO) technique as a great breakthrough in wireless communication system can obtain high spectral efficiencies and MIMO-related topics also occupy a considerable part of today's academic communications research.Multiple-antenna systems, also known as multiple-input multiple-output of radio(MIMO) radio, can improve the capacity and reliability with communication. However, the multiple RF chains associated multiple antennas are costly in terms of size, power, and hardware. Antenna selections a low-cost low-complexity alternative to capture many of the advantages of MIMO systems. The achieved capacity of MIMO system is typically dependent on the selection algorithm at the transmitter and receiver. In this thesis, the author refers some idea, several kinds of antenna selection algorithms are introduced first. The author also present simulation results that confirm his algorithm and analysis.
