The research on night vision image real-time process has important theoretic significance and applied value. The night vision system proposed in this paper is active imaging system which uses semiconductor laser as its optical radiation source. Unavoidably affected by back scattering and CCD's electronic noise, night vision image always suffers from degradation, e.g. corrupted by intense noise, detail-blurred.In this paper, the laser active imaging night vision system is discussed first, then the whole performance of night vision processing system based on DSP and function of each part were analyzed. The paper gived the system structure frame diagram and software development processing. On the DSP simulation platform, de-noising algorithm for night vision image is studied. Contraposing the noise characteristics of night vision image, wavelet threshold de-noising methods are chosen. The paper achieves and improves the wavelets algorithms on the chips of TMS320DM642 of TI Company, based on which the threshold algorithms suitable for fixed-point DSP are introduced.Results show that this system achieves high processing speed, meets the real-time requirements.
