With the development of computer technology,photoelectric instrument and digital image processing technology, charge-coupled device(CCD)and liquid crystal display (LCD),as a kind of holography recording and reconstruction device, has taken their parts into holographic interferometry gradually. It adds new content and method to the development and application of holography.On the basis of theory analysis and practical experiment, we study the application condition of CCD/LCD in the two-exposure holographic interferometry and try to do some digital image processing onto the hologram we have taken. Concerning off-axis holographic recording system, we analyze the fundamentals and conditions of CCD recording, and conclude the hologram spectrum separation conditions and the recording capability of CCD while satisfying the sampling theorem and the spectrum separation conditions. Also, we analyze the fundamentals of LCD reconstruction, and prove the contribution of LCD black-grating effect to reconstruction mostly represents as a convolution process. In additional, we also try to process the holograms with digital image processing technique, and we achieved better reconstruction results. These analyses and studies give us powerful instructions in our optical system arrangements of practical experiment.
