As a kind of dedicated communication technology, GSM-R has been more and more comprehensively used for railway. It promotes the development of railway industry for each country. Its performance is the key factor that influences the operation of railway. The Train-Station Communication Network is one of most important part of Train Control System, and the GSM-R network is the main type of Train-Station Communication Network.. But there are several problems about the responsibility according to the application. This thesis researches the theories of Train Control System and the characters of GSM-R Network. Finally, it suggests a PRI monitoring system between GSM-R network and Train Control System. The PRI monitoring system has the important guiding sense regarding the system fault diagnosis. The thesis gives an introduction of the structure of GSM-R network, the basic theory of its data transmission and data transmission flow. It also presents the development of PRI monitoring system, including the system structure, function and implementation of the system. PRI monitoring system has already applied in Qingzang Railway. Further elaboration of the system in real-time observation of ITCS business and communication problems based on the analysis of the actual monitoring data are given out in this thesis.
