Application Of Virtual Reality In The CBTC Simulation And Test System

In order to research the CBTC system with computer simulation technology, the CBTC simulation and test system is built based on computer, network and virtual reality technology. Visual simulation environment is provided for line and train simulation, the platform is controllable, safe, repeatable, economic and realizable. As the human-machine interface and visible display platform of the simulation and test, the virtual reality is one of the indispensable parts of the whole system. The CBTC simulation and test system and virtual reality are briefly introduced in this paper, because the former 3D display platform has some defects, the application of virtual reality key technology in the system is emphasized in order to compose an advanced, convenience, practicable and vivid display platform for the CBTC simulation and test system.The requirements of the system and the key technologies of virtual reality are adequately considered, by applying the technology of real-time modeling, dynamic model, multi-viewpoints display, human-machine interaction and sound simulation, the CBTC simulation and test environment is vividly recurred so that the system can simulate single train running and trace of multi-trains. Also, operation control policy and system integration scheme can be analyzed, key subsystem and system integration can be tested by using this system.Finally, the actual application of the CBTC simulation and test system is provided. The process of creating the virtual reality environment and the usage of the key technology are concretely described. The virtual reality provide the system with vivid and smooth display effect and convenient and effective human-machine interaction during the prophase test in the libratory and anaphase spot test, contribute to the success of the simulation and test system.
