Research And Application Of Enterprise Information Portal Based On Light Portal

For example: information overload; complicated system; confuting data. It is very difficult to organize information according individual needs. Kinds of system can not help each other and improve efficiency. The fundamental reason is that information can not be efficient integrated. Front these problems, EIP can effective organize relative independence of systems to some extent, and integrate heterogeneous systems. It does not help people obtain information with re-entering the large number of IT systems, but through the EIP to get information. It can void existence of island of information and reduce duplicate investment, as well as provide a more complete solution.The paper starts with hierarchical structure of EIP, research core components Portlet of EIP. Then accord to the features of Machinery Enterprises, analyse and compare various portal technologies in the term of fees, difficult degree of development, use and safely of system, individuality and so on. Choose Light Portal that is new portal framework. Firstly Light Portal is open-source, so fees lower, and it is lightweight framework, structure is clear and development is easier. Unlike Liferay lack a simple and clear extensible architecture design. Secondly Light Portal support JSR168 standard. But Jetspeed1.X not support JSR168 standard. Although Jetspeed2.0 support JSR168 standard, do not support the Property Manager services. It can bring difficult transplant in some application of Portlets. Light Portal alse can bring uncommon things in page display speed and customization. Finally propose construction of EIP based on Light Portal, on the basis of this configure Liht Portal environment, and then use a specific portlet and detail its development process, at last archive functions.
