Application Research On E-CRM System Based On Portlet

Under the enterprise management mode of customer-centric, it has become the main task of the customer relationship system that how to obtain the information of clients in time and how to advance the customer's loyalty by providing personalized service. However there are two problems in the traditional CRM systems. On one hand, they cannot meet the needs of obtaining the customers info in time and cooperating with the ecommerce. On the other hand, the technology that has been used to develop the existing CRM systems cannot implement the integration between CRM systems and Enterprise Information Portal (EIP). All above limitations of the traditional CRM systems result in the problem of "information detached island", thus it's hard to improve the enterprises' competitiveness.In the paper, the CRM system is combined with the ecommerce theory. We analyze and design the E-CRM system with UML based on the Object Oriented thinking, and take the Portlet technology as the solution.Up till now, there have been two specifications well known by everyone, that is OASIS's WSRP (Web Services for Remote Portlets) and JCP's JSR 168.They provide the standard for portlet developers and allow importing Web applications as portlet into the portal. However, these two specifications say nothing about how to develop a portlet. Not to mention how to portletize an exiting Web application. Based on above analysis, the thesis imports the portletize thinking, and pay attention to the research of how to turn a Web application into a portlet. After analyzing the relationship between Web applications and portlets, the issue of portletize, about the Java Web applications based on JSP model 1 and MVC model is researched comparatively. A portletize model is proposed in this paper, which can turn applications based on struts framework into portles. Based on the model, the paper designs and develops the E-CRM system and integrates it into the EIP.In sum, firstly the portletize model proposed in this paper supply a solution for Enterprise Application Integration, so it has some practical value. Secondly, the endeavor in the paper strives to solve the problem called "information detached island" exiting in the traditional CRM systems, implement the syndication in EIP under the situation of ecommerce, and extend the intension of CRM theory.
