The Design And Realization Of General Group Portal System

With the development of computer and network technique, the network infrastructure of General Group is increasingly complete, and many IT systems are built one after another to support the development of enterprise, such as the finance information system, personnel information system, produce information system, sale system, development system etc. These systems are built depending on the different product, by the different personnel and in different time, therefore the operability between these systems is worse. It is a difficult problem that the enterprise faces all the time to smoothly achieve the integration of an enterpriseportal and being systems and achieve SSO between systems.This paper has its setting in General Group portal, introduces what is EP and it's development at home and abroad. By the introduction of currently quite popular develop software solutions of EP, This paper puts forward the solution of General Group portal, and gives a detailed description to the solution's main function. It also describes currently existent main problem in the business management of General Group and major content of the paper.This paper according to analyzing currently general situation of General Group information system puts forward function request of General Group Portal, then puts forward system design and system planning. The platform for development of the General Group Portal adopts the IBM WebSphere Portal. The system design follows three-tier architectures. The presentation layer is a graphical interface that a user can see, and provides all kinds of operations including choosing contents, personalized Ready-Made and etc. Logical layer provides the business development, and through EAI connects with existing systems, and comes out by Portlet Data layer connects with applications and. resources, such as user data, resources data and etc..It makes connection between services through adopting the structure of facing to service (SOA).This paper finished a detailed function design of the General Group's Portal including home page, integrated office, department business, knowledge center, information maintenance, system management and etc. the realization of the system adopts the following five techniques including SSO, safety mechanism of SSO, scanning application procedure safely, using SSL protection sensitive data and etc.In a word, the development of General Group Portal adopts the IBM WebSphere Portal to integrate the existing IT well, so the earlier IT investment of enterprise is protected well, and the cost is lowered. The General Group Portal has better applicability, possibility and extensibility, makes the core competition of enterprise further promotion, and lays solid foundation for General Group to become a top-grade business enterprise.
