Design And Implementation Of VW Automatic Transmission Dalian Internal Portal System

This article describes the design and implementation of Volkswagen automatic transmission dalian company internal portal system. To solve the isolated information island within the company, the system is designed and implemented. The system makes it easier to get useful information within the company and improve the efficiency of the company information management by integrating all source of information, unifying the publish channel and eliminating information silos.This article follows the standard process of software development, starting from system requirements analysis of the actual business needs, set up a detailed system use case diagrams,and design the system based on the result of business analysis result. In terms of system function, the system provides following six functions to end users: internal portal management, company division management, company organizational structure management,company public document management, company career development and monthly newsletter management. Users may obtain the appropriate information in the different modules and each module also provides user oriented system actions. Another outstanding feature of the system is user role management, through which the system can assign the appropriate permissions by specifying a group and role and can also customize specific functionality. In terms of system performance, the system makes special effort on the system security, system scalability and user usability and friendliness to ensure the system availability.According to system high level design and detailed design, the system functions is implemented based on Liferay Portal platform and finally go live after passing user acceptance testing.The system earns good reputation after officially running for a period. Compared to previous versions of the portal, the system meets with the requirement of business process,enterprise features, system-friendly. At the same time, the system eliminates the effects of enterprise information isolated island, ensuring normative, immediacy and accuracy of the company information. The system not only provides unified information management platform for corporate employees, but also improves the efficiency of company information management and corporate image.
