The Initial Study On The Cooperation-Oriented Learning Model Based On The Platform Of Wiki Tech

Wiki Tech. is a kind of growing social software used for supporting writing collaboratively. The writers and readers can scan, edit, alter the Wiki files based on the Web2.0 Tech. and the cost of Wiki operations is by far less than the HTML files. Wiki Tech. represents more ideas such as cooperative learning and sharing resources. So it has been paid more attention by educators. It is very important to bring Wiki into cooperative learning in network environment in the ways as following: study manner of students' , increase in consciousness of cooperation and abilities of innovation, improvement of teachers' methods.The literatures and cases show that Wiki has been applied more on sharing the resources of study at present. The study is in primary period, which the Wiki is combined with teaching in practice. Few achievements have been accessed in methods and models of teaching, especially in the combination with the class teaching.A retrospect of the study on education and teaching cases in practice with Wiki Tech is given in this article, which explains the basic theories about the Wiki Tech, seeking the point of linking the Wiki with cooperative learning in network environment through analysis on the features of Wiki Tech. After that, focusing on the application of Wiki in the class-teaching, a model of cooperative learning bases on a double platform is proposed, which is made of Wiki Tech and class-teaching. As an attempt supported by the social software in network environment, the improvement of methods and tools in class teaching is expected to achieve by this model in network environment. This model involves a process of learning before class teaching based on the double statement, the cooperative learning in double direction between teachers-students and the methods of multiple appraisements to control teaching. An action research of this model has been twice done in the teaching practice for 5 months on 05 grade of educating department in Hunan Science & Tech College, in which there are 87 students. After twice action research in teaching practice, this model has been proved out available. Wiki Tech shows the necessary effect on cooperative learning with feature of innovating together and opening attitude. The utilization of the new way in teaching practice based on the double platform has advanced learners' initiative, cooperation and opening attitude. By the process of learning before class teaching and the double platform, the teachers can kwon well the situation of the learners at once and adjust immediately the content and means in class teaching so as to make the class teaching more flexible and pertinent.Moreover, by means of the way based on the new model of learning, the effect of communication among the teachers and the students could be improved, and the cooperative consciousness and innovative abilities of students could be increased. On the double platform, the students is equal to the teachers, they have come to be partners in cooperative learning, and the communication between them has gotten to more frequently and directly.The fact has been found out in practice that Wiki, as a new technique based on network, has the particular advantages in following aspects: innovating together, cooperative learning and opening attitude, but obvious shortages as an accessorial tool of teachingA set of procedures based on Wiki for cooperative learning has been suggested in the article, which should be helpful to resolve those similar problems.
