| The video signal is inevitably degraded by noise and distortion after transmission, therefore the origin image will not be played back. Through analyzing and evaluating video signal, we will find the source of noise and distortion, take corresponding measures to reduce noise and distortion, and display clearer image. It is very necessary to propose a general video signal analysis and evaluation method, and develop a video signal analysis and evaluation system with simple operation and high performance.This paper establishes the mathematical models of video signal's luminance SNR, chroma SNR, luminance FR and chroma FR in different formats, and measures the distortion and noise of video signal's waveform, and gives the analysis and evaluation method of video signal's waveform. Through using virtual instrument developing tool LabVIEW and applying module programming method, program modules are coded to acquire, analyze and evaluate video signal's waveform corresponding to video signal generator PXI-5431 and high speed digitizer PXI-5112. The video signal's waveform analysis and evaluation system is implemented.Furthermore, this paper also establishes the mathematical models of video signal's RGB components, measures the quality of video signal's image, and gives the analysis and evaluation method of video signal's image. Through using virtual instrument developing tool LabVIEW, video signal generator PXI-5431 and image acquisition board PCI-1411, the video signal's image analysis and evaluation system is carried out. The experimental results obtained from a DVD recorder have verified and demonstrated its accuracy.The method proposed in this paper is put into use in measuring recordable DVD. As a result, the test efficiency has increased greatly. |
