Research On The Interoperability Testing And Test Case Designing Of C/D Interface In GSM-R Network

With the development and populization of GSM-R technology, and with the increasing of the manufacturers of GSM-R network equipment, the interoperability testing becomes more and more important, which ensures interworking of GSM-R system.In this paper,it is mainly discussed about the interoperability testing and test case designing of C/D Interface in GSM-R Network.Begin with the interoperability testing theory,the necessity of interoperability testing in GSM-R Network is analyzed.Furthermore, test method, test steps and test's implement schemes for interoperability testing in GSM-R system are given.As test cases are the guidance of test implement and the guarantee of test quality,firstly,the particularity of test case designing in GSM-R is analyzed, and then, based on studying MAP protocol,interoperability test requirements of C/D Interface in GSM-R Network are analyzed in detail,concerning about the applications of China railway.A scheme to optimize the test case set is proposed,which designs test cases on the basis of reduced test requirements.And then, test case set is designed using Black-Box,which gives a complete example of the pratical application of test case designing method.According to my work, test system, the concrete data configurations and implement of test case are shown.After that, some problems in pratical test and the related solutions are discussed.What's more, the shortages of test method and test case designing are pointed out, and some improvements are proposed. Finally, it's hoped that this paper can give some reference and guidance to the next phase GSM-R network interoperability testing and test case designing.
