Fxc Ng Traceability Testing Practices

Software Testing [1] is a very important aspect in software development process. Software Testing focuses on the functions test after the testers get the code before, as the development of software testing technology, it is become more and more important to the success of a product. Starting from the verification of software requirement, design the test case, analysis the test result and deliver the quality report of product, software testing plays a critical role in the software development process. The Chinese software industry should not rely on the low-cost advantage in the near future; we must improve the quality of the products and the services. During the progress, software testing is also developing.This thesis gives a brief introduction of current testing technology and the quality assurance in the world, discusses the software test requirement traceability and test coverage analysis technology. The thesis presents three different test case structure design methods according to the practices in State Street Zhejiang University Technology Center, which are suitable for different type of projects, to meet the test requirement and improve the products' quality. The test report matrixes are illustrated in the thesis, to improve the teamwork and the quality of products with the analysis of the test report. Based on the practice of FXC NG project, we use the above technologies in different phases of the development process, set up the traceability relationship between test case and test requirement, and detailed the experiences of how to implement those technologies. In the last place, we implement the above test technologies to FXC NG project, which make the test effort more effective and improve the product' s quality.
