With the rapid development of electronic technology, various electronic devices are applied broadly in automobile, making modern automobile trend with several features such as high speed, safety and comfort. Automobile electrical wire connects the electronic devices. It plays a role in connecting electrical devices for automobile to make use of them. The performance of automobile electrical wire has an important effect on whether the function of electrical devices works normally and the working behaviors of the whole automotive. Since both the function for automobile and people's requirement on humanized and economic automotive are increasing a lot, the wire connecting each devices are in the situation of the increase in complexity, and the technological contents are becoming more complicated.The automobile electrical wire cad/capp system basically changes the rough and easy mode for wire designing from designing to manufacture. Combined with processing parameters library, it deals with electrical wire programming, the making and export of processing information, and producing electrical wire as a whole. It not only relieves the working intensity of designer and technologist but also improves the work effect of managers in the company. It also greatly improves product design for enterprise and management in the process of enterprises.This paper,on the basis of investigating Hubei Sanhuan Auto Accessories Co.,Ltd, summarizes current problems about drawing wire picture and process design.It proposes the whole scheme which should deal with the requirements from drawing picture, process design, management and integration for cad/capp system, and discusses cad sub-system,capp sub-system, the integration system problems in detail. At last, it analyses the key technology including drawing wire and capp database design, wire connecting algorithm research, the integration between the system and UFERP, and the management of user authority with particularity.
