At present, information technology develops in a high speed,and the chief storage medium of data is hard disk. Facing to large capacity, high performance and miniaturized demand of hard disk, manufactures continuously make break through limitations, and propose new servo technology. Hard disk has been across through several generations, but STW technology is still based on traditional mode. Considering practice demands, from servo signals verification and multi-equipment control in production, a new STW technology is proposed.There are many flaws and insufficiency in traditional technology, the entire servo process must rely on clean room, after the servo signals being written, servo disk must be mounted in a drive for verification, so the efficiency is excessively low; it needs to mount and disassemble repeatedly when qualified rate is low, and the MR head and PCB board need shield, frequent manual control is easy to create ESD, enlarging production cost.In the foundation of traditional equipment, new technology draws out enlarged signals, then sends them to read channel for quantification, and finaly verifies them with the sampling algorithm; the new technology updates the OS, and establishes network model for control, and uses reasonable GUI to controls multi-equipment.The new technology can reduce the dependence of clean room, and raise utilization by shorted servo flow, additionally, it ascents production efficiency and reduces waste. |
