With the development of the mobile communication, the subscribers want to enjoy the mobile service of good quality at any time and any where. Therefore the service providers start to deploy the repeaters outdoors, indoors and underground where the mobile signal can not cover previously. As the result, more and more people focus on the research of the repeater.The article introduces the application and development of the repeater in the mobile commucation system and then analyzes the block diagram of the repeater and the key techniques in the repeater design, and points out the task of this project,which is to design the key components of the mobile communication repeater system.The thesis introduces some basic theory in RF(Radio Frequency) circuit design;the low noise amplifier design;the frequency selecting module design and the power amplifier design respectively which are the most important techniques in repeater design.In the end,the thesis presents what the author had done: a CDMA low noise amplifier design and a module which includes a low noise amplifier and a power amplifier in GSM band in detail. ADS software is used to analyze and simulate the key circuits and APPCAD software is used to verify the system performance. The measurement results are presented and the schematics with the PCB are presented in the appendix.
