As the key technology of BPR (Business Process Reengineering), workflow technology has attracted more and more attention in manufacturing filed. Nowadays, workflow technology has become one of the sustain technologies of advanced manufacturing.Firstly, according to the current status of workflow technology, the develop trend of workflow technology is predicted.A reference framework of Web-based workflow management system is resented in the Thesis, according to the ordinary workflow management system's architecture and the requirements of organizations. The execution process and functions of it are analyzed in detail. A new method of low coupling workflow modeling is put forward. In the method, the business process, organization model and resource model are defined separately. The organization model and resource model are associated with business process through pre-defined name space. It improves the flexibility of workflow modeling and the reusability of business process, organization model and resource model. A Nested Saga Transaction model is presented based on advanced transaction model. The principle of the model is analyzed with an example.As a validation, a prototype of Web based workflow management system is implemented. The system is easy to extend and maintain. |
