Design And Realization Of Network Information Monitoring System

Due to the rapid development of mobile communication services and the increase of network complexity, network performance mornitoring has become an important technique to guarantee quality of service. The increase of subscriber amount causes expansion of network and difficulty of maintenance, this demands a real-time system monitoring network performance to replace the present simple device alarm viewer.In this thesis, the author developed the "Network Information Monitoring System (NIMS)" with database and web technology . The advanced ASP (Active Server Page) technique is also applied in the system. NIMS is a real-time mobile network performance monitoring platform, providing a graphical interface to present instant network changes. It can perform instant network monitoring, light and voice notification of alarms, dynamic configuration of performance threshold, query of cell information and maintenance experience.
