Wind energy as a renewable cleanness energy resource have been paid more attention all over the world .The wind energy to generate electricity is a regenerated resource technology of ultimate competitive and most potential in recent years. Wind turbine is the chiefly part of energy transition process in the wind power generation system. It determines the effective power output and the units safe and stable operation of the wind power generation system. Wind turbine simulator can solve the problem that researching the wind power generation technology in the laboratory without wind-field. Therefore, constructing the experimental platform of wind turbine simulator, which is the key of researching the wind power generation system, means great significance to us in driving our wind power generation continuously expanding.Firstly, I introduced the exploiture of wind energy resource and the adjustment control technology of wind power generation system. Second, I introduced the operation characteristics of wind turbine and the principle of optimal capture of wind energy, and presented the control method that the characteristics of DC motor can be converted into wind turbine. Thirdly, I used MATLAB software to emulate it and gave the result.Secondly, I introduced the hardware design of the experimental platform based on TMS320LF2407A controller, which include the configuration and design of main circuit, the design of PWM output driving circuit, also offered the diagram of schematic circuits and interrelated control principle.Lastly, I introduced the characteristic of TMS320LF2407A controller and the integrated development environment CCS, gave the method of PWM waveform generation and the main program flow chart, and the design of some subprograms, then gave the experimental results and compared the theoretical values with it.In this paper, major success is:1. By comparing the characteristics of wind turbine with DC motor, I gave the scheme of torque control, and built the simulation model based on MATLAB/Simulink. The good property of the wind turbine simulator and maximum wind energy tracking control were testified using the simulation.2. The validity and rationality of hardware circuitries design and the veracity and real-time performance of software control arithmetic were proved on the experimental platform of wind turbine simulator based on TMS320LF2407A controller. By comparing the theoretical values with the experimental results, the good characters of the wind turbine simulator were testified.Since time is hasty, errors and defects are unavoidable in my paper, so I wish every expert and scholar give me criticisms and your valuable comments.
