In recent years, the developments of wireless mobile communication technology in particular short distance wireless communication have changed with each new day. Wireless local area network(WLAN), Ultra-Wide Band(UWB), the Bluetooth(BT) technology and so on are widely applied in the information electrical appliances, mobile ports, geography survey, global localization, medical science and finance, network attaching and so on, also this has brought the revolutionary technical change. At the same time, the development of industrial automation and informationization has unprecedented requests of sensor's no-wire and mobility, while the development and application of wireless communication has just created favorable conditions to satisfy these requests. Applying the wireless communication technology (for instance Bluetooth technology) in the sensors domain, can not only reduce numbers of cables in industry field, but also avoid the impact of bad industry scene environment over wired connection. In short, it has very high application value.Firstly, this thesis introduced the present situation and the tendency of sensor development, and then analyzed several kinds of widespread used short- distances wireless communication technology, briefly narrated their development courses, the technology standards as well as the application situations, and carried on the comparison: Bluetooth technology is more suitable to be the way to realize the sensor's wireless communication because of it's characteristics of low cost, small volume, and low power loss.Next, the thesis introduced the IEEE1451 standard series of smart sensors and main contents of Bluetooth specification. In the foundation of understanding and digesting Bluetooth specification, proposed the Bluetooth smart sensor realization frame, which would be divided into two parts: the sensor side and the super ordination machine side. The sensor side which also named Bluetooth smart sensor, mainly implemented by ATmega16L controlling temperature sensor DS18B20, DS600 and Bluetooth module BTM-K303L, took charge of data acquisition, data pretreatment and data transfer to PC. The super ordination machine side composed by PC and Bluetooth module was responsible for incepting sensor data, and sending some control commands if necessary. The thesis narrated these two parts separately, from main chips used, hardware constitution, and software realization etc. couples of aspects, specifically presented the design scheme of connection interfaces. In addition, a friendly user interface is designed with Visual Basic Language at the super ordination machine side. This is to make user control sensors more convenient and flexible.Finally, this thesis proposed prospect for this task, in the basic of realization point-to-point wireless correspondence, we may utilize the Bluetooth technology or other new wireless network technologies(for example the Zigbee tech.) to constitutes the wireless sensor network, fuse the wireless communication tech., the sensor tech., and the microprocessor technology well in together, provides better services for us people.
