Torque rheometer is used in factory and research department extensively, and it is the important instrument of application of factory and scientific research. Torque rheometer can determine continuously and exactly in the course of similarly practical processing, according to different measurement methods and using various measurement attachments, a lot of processing characteristics of various materials are determined. Thermal stability, shearing stability, and flowing and curing behavior etc. of thermoplast is studied. All tests only need a few raw materials.With the rapid development of the computer technology and high automatic, the further request of the instrument is proposed like pace faster, sensitivity higher, stability finer and so on. According to the practical application object of the torque rheometer, the design of temperature control system is carried on. The goal is to reduce the controlling time and the settling time of the temperature control, to increase the controlling precision, to satisfy the request of producing high grade plastic product the, and the customer request. It is the important theory significance and the practice significance to the temperature control system research.This thesis discusses the software and hardware work principle of torque rheometer in detail, and temperature change characteristic; it analyzes some new controlling algorithm; and it studies the way, advatanges and disadvatanges of temperature control which is used in industry processing equipment. The parameter self regulating fuzzy PID control algorithm is designed according to the torque rheometer; the process of debugging and revisioning parameter in the experiment is given, and programming construction of data and algorithm is also descripped. Visual Basic6.0 is used to compile the computer monitoring operation contact surface, the serial port correspondence and the temperature control module. Finally, the massive experiment is carried on appling to this controller. Control performance of this controller is analyzed. The data analysis result proves that the temperature control system control quality is enhanced, the stable time is reduced, and systems control precision is increased, good control result is obtained.
