The thesis first explains the basic running principle of Direct Torque Control (DTC).Considering the slow torque response and the large torque ripple of ordinary DTC, a fuzzy controller is proposed to substitute the classic Band-Band flux and torque controller, which adopts fuzzy logic to choose the switching states according to a set of fuzzy rules based on both specialists'experience and knowledge. This thesis builds a digital fuzzy logic DTC experimental system based on TMS320LA2407A chip. The software system is developed through C programming and Assemble Language, which can not only ensure the arithmetic efficiency but also offer the possibility of improving the performance of system by modifying software. This paper contributes the emulational model via Simulink module of Matlab software, the results show that applying fuzzy control in DTC, can improve the dynamic performance of controlling system and the capacity of resisting change in parameters. In the actual motor control system, this method is a promising AC drive scheme.
