Design And Implement Of NanTong Post Office's Ready Cash Management Information System

With China's formal accession to the WTO, China's financial market is becoming more international,changing varieties of financial services, financial activities have become increasingly active. Meanwhile,China's postal savings business has been developing rapidly, savings balance is gradually expanding,business units is diversing, the scale and means to services is constantly improving. Under suchcircumstances, the conduct of cash activity of the postal savings system has become increasinglycomplicated, the scientific management of the postal savings reserve must become one of the key issuesto resolve to departments at all levels of the postal savings system.The author, in light of the actual work, designed and implemented the postal savings dibsmanagement system for the Nantong Post Bureau. The most amount of the overnight cash of NantongPost Bureau is currently determined by the savings balance of all sub branches of the year, thistraditional method has the defects of low predictive accuracy and efficiency. The design andimplementation of the postal savings dibs management system effectively integrates the existingdatabase resource, which is so important in a practical sense to forecast accuracy,capital utilizationefficiency and cost-effectiveness of the postal savings business.This paper first introduces the MIS system developing theoretics based B/S model, and thenexpatiates the design and implementation process of the Nantong Post savings dibs management system.MVC model and multi-tier architecture are used for the development and application of the system:Struts1.1 is used as a design framework for the web layer; Application layer completes the majorbusiness application logic by Hibernate application; Data layer uses a MS SQL 2000 relational databasesystem. Taking the popular JSP technology, the Web and the database is connected by the HIBERNATEtechnology. The use of the online analytical techniques makes the system capable of analyzing andfinding the cyclical trends and unexpected factors of the historical data, which makes it impossible toestimate the cash inflow, outflow and the reserve condition in the next day, a week or even a month ofsavings branches.
