With a review of the developing activities and the market potentials ofwireless based testing systems, this paper focused on using Bluetoothtechnology to implement a test system dedicated to an environment that containspoisonous, flammable, explosive elements. In particular an host controllerinterface(HCI) to the Bluetooth modules was designed to facilitate the datacommunication between the PC an the wireless modules.Gas sensors(TGS813)were used to form the annunciators for alarming the abnormal events.A total of128 sensor based signal channels were allowed to be connected to the testsystem, including the monitoring of environmental temperature and humidity. The system adopts the concept of wireless communication between twohost,u sing the point to point Bluetooth module ROK 101 008.P C was one hostthat was connected with ROK 101 008 by an interface circuit, and the softwarewas programmed with VC++6.0.th e host communicated with ROK 101 008 bya serial communication interface.T he other host was formed by a AT89S52 chipthat collected signals from temperature, humidity and gaseous sensor.Thetemperature sensor is DS18B20,the humidity sensor is HM1500,the128channelmultiplexer consists of one 74LS138 and eight CD4067 chips. This system proves that the wireless testing system of Bluetoothtechnology could collect signal correctly, and satisfy the testing requirements ofindustry production. The testing system is well fitted to those poisonousenvironment, and having a promising market potentials....
