This thesis, directed by modern HRM theory, mainly explores the HRMS designs andapproaching plans of Vocational Higher Education Institution(VHET) based on B/S model.The premise of the paper is to promote the VHET development and to fulfill educationmodernization.Recently, with the coming of knowledge economy and Internet technology, the HRMS,which derived from modern HRM theory, has become the focal point in enterpriseinformationztion. After introduced by the theory of education informationization into schoolmanagement, the HRMS has become the critical element in school and college administration.It has been proved that only with reasonable modern information technology and optimizationof school HRM can the education quality be improved, the school-running level be promotedand education informationization be realized thoroughly.In China, the development of VHET only began less than ten years ago. HRMS in mostVHETs still continues the pattern of "Single printing plate plus commercialized software",which remains at the level of routine work management. This backward mode can neithermeet the demand of the open, cross-platform and multi-level management, nor be beneficialto the keeping and collecting of data. Therefore, VHETs are in urgent need of a set ofadvanced HRMS, which should accord with the features of respective management.HRMS based on B/S in VHET is an application-aimed independent research anddevelopment program, which is carries out in Shandong College of Electronic Technology. Itrealizes the HR information management cyberization, makes overall plans of the inquirymanagement and ensures the statistics and analyses scientifically. After vast amount oftheoretical research on HRM and deep analyses of the connotation of alumni affairs and theimpact of alumni resources on the school development, this thesis brings forward many newideas, including bringing alumni resources into school HR, taking the informationization ofalumni affairs as one of the systematical development objectives and building the HR schooldeveloping platform based on alumni dictionary.In this thesis, the B/S and C/S mixed mode is adopted in the system research, combinedwith the analyses of the clients demand. One mode named C/S model is merely employed to process complicated affairs (applied to the administrator only) while the other mode, B/Smodel, is used to realize centralized data of storage and Internet synchronization ofcross-platform management, with which the management cost can be reduced and theextension function can be improved. Furthermore, the author also makes detailed demandanalyses and total structure design for the system at the software project standard. As for themode -building, UML is adopted and therefore the systematicness of the program and thereuse of the software can be assured. In the environment exploration, VS. NET 2005 andASP. NET are employed to act as mesosphere. In addition, C# is used as programminglanguage, SQL Server 2000 as database, ADO. NET, seamless integration together with XML,as high efficient data visit mechanism. In this system, the visit is controlled technologybased on the role is taken and the enciphered code can be kept in the database, both of whichare private to general clients. In order to ensure the security of the system and the data, dualmechanism is used for the backup of thpe database. One is the computer network data backupand the other is the programming design data backup. All the interfaces of the clients must beused via the browsers. In the interface design, website space dynamic adjusting technology isemployed partly. In the end of the thesis, the author discusses the detailed design of theteaching staff management and alumni dictionary Time as soon as level module.In general, the HRMS in VHET discussed in this thesis can fulfill the self-service of theteaching staff, carry out the analyses of school HR and perform the function ofdecisionmaking. It can be concluded that this system can be applied in certain VHETs and itdeserves popularizing. It is expected that the HRMS in VHET will become a bridge betweeninformation communication and a bridge between data sharing in schools and colleges. Withthe development of HRMS in VHET, the education informationization will certainly beassured by such powerful hardware.
