Visual communication design in the theory of Ergonomics is the activity using images and colors to express specific significance contents. The modern vision communication design develops unceasingly, along with the application of phantom technology and the birth of new information mediums. The vision and the phantom exist independently, by shape transforming from complicating, staticizing to tendency, integration. The information age provides more technical supports to the visual communication design, which expanse the methods and the scopes which also lay the technology and theory foundation for this paper. Now, the vision communication designs of digital media have been the mainstream, but the theorists and the practical realm pay more attention to the networks, digital arts and movies, having not made special researches to Power Point designs. This is a significant research.First, collecting materials and advices of experts related to PPT visual communication design. Pick up representative elements to structure a model for category analysis.After category analysis, based on the theory of Ergonomics, visual communication, VE, psychology of design, marketing and so on, the paper analyzes the visual elements using the logical analytic method. Then, the paper summarizes the characteristics of Power Point documents' visual communication design and the vicissitude performances in the computer environment, giving the plans of visual elements designs tallying the theory of Ergonomics.Finally, the paper uses the conclusions to two key researching categories-PPT for classes and for demonstrations to re-design the PPT documents. The effect appraisals proves that the designs are accurate and feasibility.The main points of PPT visual communication design the paper proposes conforms to the theory of Ergonomics in the information age, which makes the human-machine-environment as a whole. The conclusions of this paper reduce capaciousness in design greatly, which will do some foundational exploration and theory accumulation for the visual communication of new media. Meanwhile, to impel the dissemination and the development of information communication idea in China through the promotion of humanism design, cause more designers to join in the visual communication information design troop; therefore this studies and results of the paper are very significant.
