Algebraic language is computer-identifiable model description language using common algebraic symbols. It has many advantages such as strong capability of description, independent of the structure between data and algorithm and so forth. Nowadays it has become the main modeling language in the area of mathematical model describing. Algebraic modeling and optimization is now paid more and more attention all over the world and there have been many successful cases which are mostly off-line.GAMS (General Algebraic Modeling System) is a senior algebraic Modeling and optimization system in the field of mathematical programming. It greatly meets the needs of algebraic modeling and optimization and has been broadly applied in many areas, especially large-scale modeling. GAMS system includes a compiler and a number of stable and high-powered solver that users can choose on their own. In addition, GAMS has a model library, which covers chemistry, agriculture, economics and many other fields. It greatly facilitates modeling process.Based on the GAMS software, we creatively developed universal online-oriented system for algebraic modeling and optimization. The main contributions are as follows:The development of algebraic modeling and optimization as well as the basic info about GAMS is introduced. After requirement analysis, the logical structure of MySQL database is designed. Then, OPC interface is used for acquisition of field data. The GAMS template concept is put forward and the spawning of GAMS into .net environment is realized as well as software timer.Object-oriented thought is analyzed and .net component technology is expatiated. On this basis, universal online-oriented system for algebraic modeling and optimization is packed according to .net component concept. In this way, we can improve the interfacing capability of current GAMS system.The domestic and international development of air separation process is reviewed. Then, the aim feasibility of variable-load air separation process is researched, as well as data rectification of internal compressed air separation process. The system that we developed is applied to the two algebraic models and satisfactory results are achieved.
