| With the expanding of network bandwidth and increasing of network services, the telecommunication network, CATV and Internet infect and converge with each other. Currently it is a certain direction to provide integrated services for users. The Network transmission mechanism and Network Structure have being changed correspondingly in the new HFC network, so network equipment and technique should be upgraded. This paper focuses on the service management in the new HFC network.TV watching is different in the new HFC networks, the system demultipexing being set in the concentrator. The concentrator packs single program stream in the Ethernet frame and sends to the user with multicast. The Ethernet frame is reverted to transport stream and program demultiplexing is finished with video and audio for TV watching. Being here, the TV programe management is served as a bridge of user and concentrator, taking user's requirement and telling the concentrator how to do.As the change of the Network Structure, the mode of TV programe management system is changed. The service of digital TV being afforded to the user includes mainly TV program and void program. In the first place, the implement of TV program and VOD program are analyzed carefully. In the next step, the details for resolving the main problem and realizing the main function with the management of TV program and VOD program in the new HFC network are provided. On this foundation, the total design project of service management system is presented. In the project, the TV program management system is divided into communication module, order processing module, database interface module, digital TV program group management module, VOD program group management module, multicast module. The full design project of service management system is described in way of data structure,circulate process,calculate way,usage strategyFinally, preliminary experiments was taken,makeing sure the user's order be taken and processed rightly. |
