Product is vital for modern manufacturing enterprise to survive and develop, and essentially, the marketing competence of enterprise can be ascribed to product competence. As the product became more and more complex and advanced designing mode like collaborative designing has been widely applied, the complexity and uncertainty in product developing process is more and more obvious. Therefore, it is a key to management of product development and designing process, that using dynamic simulation to forecast, evaluate, control and improve product developing process.To objectively describe the complexity and uncertainty and the effect resulted from human and organization factors in product developing process, an integrated simulation model which is centered on the designer's intelligent agent model was formulated from the point of view of the designer; an modeling method for task based on information flow constrain was presented; a basic data frame of simulation model was put forth in this paper.Focusing on study on basic data of simulation model, a researching method for basic data was presented and researching scope was defined in this paper. Taking the designing process of transmission shaft in gear box as background, a set of experimental program facing time research of shaft design was developed, and a scheme of orthogonal regress experiment was designed, which is used to research the effect resulted from product characters and designing capability of human in the designing of transmission shaft of gear box.Based on the above scheme, an experimental research was carried out. Firstly, the participators were divided into three blocks in light of their designing capability which was tested. Secondly, we researched whether the designing capability of designer and the workload level of task will affect the mental workload of designer, and whether the designing capability of designer will affect the probability of designing error; moreover, analyzed the rule of how the designing capability of designer and product characters affect the designing period of product, deduced the conceptual model for designing time of transmission shaft of gear box and verified its validity by means of mathematic test. Finally, the researching result was applied to simulation program based on simulation model, it put forth important basic data for running simulation program.
