Anodic aluminium oxide membrane(AAO)which is fabricated by anodic oxidation of Al not only contains uniform parallel pores but also has high pore density.In addition, it's disconnected between pores and the pore diameter is controllable according to practical needs. Furthermore, the preparation processs of AAO is very simple and finished product rates are higher. These characteristics allow the use of AAO as template to assemble ordered nano-wire array which has attracted many researchers to study it in recent years.In this dissertation,highly ordered AAO template has been fabricated by a two-step anodic oxidation method. The main results and conclusions can be summarized as following:(1) Fabrication of highly ordered AAO template.Template is the base on preparing nano-wire arrays, so in this dissertation, we fabricate the porous alumina template of high quality at first. The oxalic acid of 0.4mol/L was used in the experiment with the applied DC voltage 40V and the two-step method was involved to prepare the template.SEM photos show that both the distribution and the size of the pores are regular.The pore size is about 40~70nm and the pores spacing is about 110nm.(2) Through full-wave-rectification electrodepositing,we fabricate Fe,Co,Ni magnetic nano-wire arrays using AAO template and we characterize the products by EDS,SEM,TEM. Expermental results show that nano-wires are continuous and have the unique diameter about 60nm which is same as the pore diameter of AAO template. The length of nanowires can be controlled by electrodeposited time.(3)Through full-wave-rectification electrodepositing,we fabricate Zn nano-wire arrays and on the basis of Zn nano-wire arrays ZnO nano-wire arrays have been fabricated by high-temperature oxidation. We characterize Zn nano-wire arrays by EDS,XRD.and characterize ZnO by XRD,SEM,TEM.At last we study the photo-luminescenc spectrum of ZnO.The results show that both Zn and ZnO are hexagonal wurtzitestructure, the diameter of nanowire is about 60nm.The results of photo-luminescenc experiment show that ZnO has three PL peaks,the first one is about 380nm(UV),it is due to edge emission, the second one is about 470nm(blue),and the last one is about 500nm(green). The blue peak and green peak maybe originate from the defect of ZnO.
