With the development of society, the mobile phone has become more and moreimportant in our lives. With the phones, we not only can talk to others which are fardistance from you, but also can play games. According to a recently investigation,there are about 20 million people using mobile phones, and it will continue to expend.J2ME (Java 2 Micro Edition) is one subset of Java. It is a develop platformwhich specialized for mobile devices, such as handset. Various Java techniques canbe implemented on it and complex functions can be achieved realized on mobiledevices based on J2ME. However, the techniques and tools based on J2ME aredropped far behind the need of gamesIn this case, the author has researched the structure of RPG Games based J2MEand designed a visual tool—Djomeg (Development of Java twO Micro EditionGames), which is used to develop J2ME Games.The Djomeg System is depended on VC++ 6.0 platform. It makes use ofthinking of OOP. There are many Java Base Classes developed by author in it. Theseclasses can be directly used or be inherited to get new classes by the games developer.It can construct some objects and get correspond J2ME code for developer also. InDjomeg System, games' developers are permitted to customize every object, such aslocation, original status, and movement, etc. Then, Djomeg will translate those toJ2ME codes which can run as an integrated game.Djomeg System can come out the J2ME Games' developers from the liberationin the tedious coding, so that they will have more time and energy to construct thegames. It will also lower the primer threshold of the J2ME rookies.This dissertation will work at followings:1. It briefly Introduces the system s structure of the J2ME,elaboratesconcepts of KVM and profile, and analysis the structure and the principle of theMIDlet Programs.2. It introduces the development process of the mobile phone games in detail.And it analysis combined to compare the merit and shortcoming of the current essential development tools.3. It analysis the MIDlet application procedure structure of the J2ME in detail.And it analysis the composing elements and its procedure structure of the J2MEmobile phone games.4. It introduces the principle of Djomeg, which is developed independently byauthor. And it gives the process and the method of carrying out of its interfacedesigning and the function designing and carry out a method.5. It introduces the some of Base Classes developed by author.6. It gives an example game, "thunder", which is developed in Djomeg system.7. It carries on a comprehensive evaluation for the Djomeg system, andelaborates its merit and shortcoming.
