With the deep and broad society of Chinese transforms, all reforms has entered "a profoundly zone", people has been in more ardent simultaneous showing solicitude for"the event happening recently", also more ardent attention "history past events(event or accident happened in the past)". In fact, in modern news media such as newspaper, TV, broadcast, News Agency, network, history past events news report has already been on the rise and gradually common.Confront with the common phenomenon of history entering into the news media, the main body of the book adopt the way of a case study, choose the history reported special edition PAST EVENTS of SOUTH WEEKEND, the most famous countrywide weekend news, as a study sample, and take the history reported special edition in the great prosperity period of SOUTH WEEKEND (1998-2002) as the main part, demonstration inspects the development process of the history reports, announce to special field exploration and news idea that history reports to look forward to being able to more thorough and concrete.For this purpose, the book discuss the problem from three studying visual angle. The first is "Why can history enter news media", namely, carding the theory relation of history and news, and analysis the basis and possibility of history entering news; the second is "what history has entered news media", namely, the outline and characteristic of history reported in news media; the third is "how history enters news media", namely, the version form and operation way of history reports in news media.Final, the book analysis the existing deficiency and difficult position of "past events" in history reports, and bringing forward self to trend the days to come that history reports.
