| Owning customer means holding the market in the violent market competition, Therefore an enterprise can respond to customer's needs and desires timely is the precondition of winning customers. So the first step an enterprise does is providing the goal product configuration and the quotation accurately and quickly for the customer. It can't satisfy the customer's needs and desires if the product configuration is not reasonable, and if the quotation too high or not in time will result in the product uncompetitive, and if too low will decrease profits of enterprise. Thus, how to build a quick, correct and dynamic pricing system is very concerned by many enterprises.At present, research on product configuration and quotation are mostly focused on method and strategy, improving the efficiency and accuracy by means of the method and the strategy optimization. But there is a fundamental and key problem neglected that the research are all established on the basis of BOM, whatever the method and strategy is. In the face of modern complex products, how to build product BOM quickly and accurately in product configuration and quotation has been a bottleneck.For these reasons, this paper established an information sharing model, which aimed at the data sharing between CAD software and product configuration and quote price system based on the analysis of data requisition and connection, realized tight integration, and operated the data one another, and also assured data agreement and flowed bidirectional. Reduced factors of extending quotation period and reducing accuracy caused by information transferred irregularity. To satisfy the customer's needs and desires on the aspect of product technical parameters, performance, price and intensify market competition of the enterprise, we developed an integration system of product configuration and quotation based on CAD design which is quick, accuracy and trustworthy, and have a good application in enterprise. |
