CHONGGUANGHUISHI was a genus-book which printed in medium term ofNorth Song Dynasty, but ithad been lost in china since upper term of NorthSong Dynasty. None of collect books after South Song Dynasty embodied andintroduced it. CHONGGUAGNHUISHI was photocopied in 20s of last century inJapan, and then it came down widely. CHONGGUANGHUISHI only set up generaand quoted several pieces of official history in each genus. The official history whichit quoted came from the edition of that day (the medium term of North Song Dynasty),so it could be used for reference for emending. The choice of materials ofCHONGGUAGNHUISHI was similar to CEFUTUANGUI, so its importance shouldbe discussed fatherly.This disquisition mainly discussed CHONGGUANGHUISHI in three parts.Firstly, the discussion of edition and system; mainly discussing in aspects of seal,taboo words and so on, and expounding some ideas which were based on the researchof predecessors and contemporary scholars. Secondly, emending; because of the largeamount of work, we selected partial quotations from every volume and every historyfor detailed emendation, and we found some problems which mainly were derivationerrors, quotation errors and other common errors. Lastly, the value according togenus-book; mainly compared with CEFUYUANGUI, we tried to dig out the value ofCHONGGUANGHUISHI in the history of genus-book development.
